Brandon Jennings has delivered a serious message to Patrick Beverley after the two have been fighting once again.
On Monday, Jennings was a reminder of her ability when a video performance at the SLAM Summer Classic went viral with her former Aces star Deja Kelly. The former Knicks guard was spotted hitting difficult, contesting shots easily, arousing buzz on the Internet.
Gilbert Arenas wasted no time soon after to add more fire to the flames. In response to the video, he tagged Beverley–with a message of: @patbev21 u aint ready. Jennings then escalated the confrontation a notch further retaliating: @nochillgil he wants to get back into the league; he should watch out I am starting to feel like my old self.
As bearings go, that is pretty good, has been Beverley thus far, as it has not responded to the prod of Jennings against it.
What was the origins of the Jennings vs Beverley beef?
The confrontation of Jennings and Beverley is not exceptional. It all began in March when Jennings, in a playback chat with Arenas, named former NBA players who he thought that he could beat on. His name was not mentioned, but later he proposed to organize a one-on-one championship with existing and retired hoop players.
Jennings was eager to dismiss Beverley though because he was saying that the guy didnât even deserve to be mentioned because he never averaged more than 10 points a game in his career. Beverley responded to him in kind, noting that his postseason numbers made him statistically the same at scoring as Jennings but better in rebounds and assists.
The situation further developed as the two players showed up in the livestream of Gilbert Arenas. Jennings doubled up his saying and Beverley challenged him to prove it in the court.
Ok, how about regular hoopers? Come on, drink. Jennings answered: You can never stick your thumb in some posy you are not qualified to occupy.
In spite of volleys to/fro, the fans are awaiting the two to go off in a real match still.
