Aryna Sabalenka China Open 2025 withdrawal

Aryna Sabalenka will not be present in the China Open in the current year after sustaining an injury during her phenomenal U.S. Open performance earlier this month. She was withdrawn on Wednesday by the organisers of the tournament.

The Belarusian Belinorova, who has just conquered Amanda Anisimova to win her second consecutive U.S. Open and fourth Grand Slam championship, had previously made it as far as the quarter-finals of the Beijing event last year.

In a statement, Aryna Sabalenka said that he was withdrawing from the China open this year after he had a small injury following the U.S. open. I am going to dedicate myself to being in a 100% healthy condition throughout the year.

In the meantime, the US teenager Coco Gauff will be the defending champion when the China open starts in the National Tennis Centre in Beijing between September 24 and October 5.
