Dante Moore Sends Strong Signal About His Oregon Future

Dante Moore is already being talked about as one of the top prospects for the 2026 NFL Draft. But the Oregon quarterback may have just given fans a big clue that his college journey isn’t over yet.

Dante Moore recently shared an Instagram reel that quickly caught the attention of Ducks fans and NFL watchers alike. The video was a highlight montage from Oregon’s 2025 College Football Playoff first-round win over James Madison at Autzen Stadium. While the post celebrated a historic moment — the first-ever CFP game hosted in Eugene — the message at the end stood out the most.

The reel closed with the words, “Come on 5, To Be Continued.”

That short line sparked instant buzz. For many, it sounded like a clear hint that Moore plans to return to Oregon for another season instead of heading straight to the NFL. Since that James Madison game also marked Oregon’s final home contest of the year, the timing only made the message stronger.

For months, Moore’s future has been a major talking point. Scouts and analysts have closely followed him, and speculation about an early NFL jump has been nonstop. Even before the playoff matchup against James Madison, Moore admitted he hadn’t made up his mind.

Still, the message in his video seemed to speak louder than words, at least for now. It appears to slow down the NFL chatter and suggests Moore may be focused on unfinished business in Eugene.

The NFL hype around Moore didn’t come out of nowhere. According to ESPN’s Field Yates, scouts began paying close attention during Moore’s first five starts at UCLA in 2023. That interest exploded after his standout 2025 season at Oregon, where he showed strong mobility, impressive deep-ball accuracy, and calm decision-making under pressure.

Statistically, Moore was among the best quarterbacks in the country. He finished with a 72.4% completion rate, the third-best mark in the FBS. He threw for 3,046 yards, 38 touchdowns, and just eight interceptions. Moore also added 118 rushing yards and two scores on the ground. His 28 passing touchdowns ranked seventh nationally, while his QBR of 80.3 placed him 11th overall.

Because of that production, many believed Moore could be a top NFL pick in 2026. Draft Network recently graded him as a Round 3 prospect and labeled him an “adequate starter” early in his pro career, while NFL Draft analysts ranked him as the No. 1 quarterback with an overall grade of 89.6.

ESPN analysts have already imagined possible NFL fits. Field Yates projected Moore as a first-round pick for the Las Vegas Raiders, pointing to the team’s need for a more consistent quarterback. Jordan Reid also backed Moore’s first-round value, projecting him to the New York Jets due to their strong draft capital and long-term plans at the position.

For now, Dante Moore hasn’t made anything official. Fans are still waiting for a clear announcement. But his latest post may be the strongest sign yet that Oregon hasn’t seen the last of its star quarterback.
